How we handle your data.

What we collect

Email address. When you ask for beta access or subscribe to release notes, we store the email you typed alongside a flag (beta or subscription), the source of the submission, and a timestamp.

Analytics. If you accept cookies, we measure pageviews and interactions through Google Analytics 4 (property G-S0LHEMM9LR). No marketing cookies are set. If you decline, no analytics data is sent.

Technical logs. Like any web server, our host (Vercel) records request metadata (IP, user agent, time). These logs are kept by Vercel under their own privacy policy and are not joined to your email.

Why we collect it

The single purpose of the email collection is to contact you about beta access or to send the release notes you subscribed to. We do not sell, rent or share the list with third parties. We do not run paid advertising and we do not build advertising profiles.

Where it lives

Submitted emails are stored in a managed Postgres database operated by Neon (data region selected at project setup). Analytics events, if accepted, are processed by Google in their EU/US infrastructure under their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep beta and subscription emails until you ask us to remove them, or until we decide the corresponding programme has ended. Analytics aggregates roll off after 14 months by default.

Your rights

You can ask, at any time, to see what we have on file for you, to correct it, or to delete it. Send a short note to hello@cometstudio.io and we'll do it within 30 days. If you're in the EEA or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies in plain words

The site uses one analytics cookie set by Google. It only fires if you click Accept on the banner. If you click Decline, or do nothing, nothing is sent. You can change your mind by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will reappear.
